 Abstract

Excessive gingival display due to altered gingival contour is an aesthetic concern. This case report describes how periodontal plastic surgical procedures, such as esthetic crown lengthening, can eliminate excessive gingival display and expose the correct dimensions of teeth without violating biologic width.
